I'm a parent of a picky eater, too.
When my daughter was about 14 months old, her safe foods began to drop… fast. I quickly learned that no matter how much nutrition knowledge I had, it was useless if my child refused to eat.
The advice to “just keep offering” left me feeling powerless in a situation that was far too important to simply watch and wait.
I knew how critical those early years were for growth and development, so I went searching for more.
As I learned why children become picky eaters and how to truly support them, my passion grew beyond helping just my daughter. In 2022, I became a qualified feeding therapist (SOS Approach to Feeding) and since then, I’ve had the privilege of supporting many children to expand their diets in a way that feels good for the whole family.
